Brief Introduction
Changjiang Professional College (CPC) is a higher vocational college, run directly by Hubei Provincial Department of Education. Regarded as the birthplace of numerous entrepreneurs for small and medium-sized enterprises, CPC was founded in 1984 in central China, Hubeis capital Wuhan, which is known as “the thoroughfare leading to nine provinces”, located right in the middle of Optics Valley, the East Lake Hi-Tech Development Zone.
Formally named Hubei University of Economic and Management, its foundation was solid, thanks to the contribution of many specialists and scholars like famous economist Wu Xinmu, etc, during the period of reform and the opening-up. In the process of development and evolution of 1990s, it has become a comprehensive higher institution incorporating arts, science, engineering, liberal arts, economics, and laws. In 1999, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Changjiang Professional College was established based on the foundation of Hubei University of Economic and Management and was among the first group of higher vocational institutions.

CPC has many outstanding teachers. Of over 400 faculty members, 55 with the title of professor , 238 with the title of associate professor, 1 Chutian-Award Distinguished Teacher and 1 Excellent Teaching Staff Team of Hubei Province.

With 27 years history, CPC has become a college with honored traditions.
